Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet messes in one go without the need to switch devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have impressive navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins and fill up their water tank, and wash their mopping pads from an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you running with a clean and complete dust bag, hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. Its mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. automatic hoover has four power modes, a range of attachments and brushes, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the exact kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only minor issue is that it can crash into walls and objects at full speed - but a quick glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed, and which obstacles it's run into or avoided.
The docking station has a handy LCD screen that indicates the time when maintenance is required, such as emptying debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank, by using a 600ml bottle filled with Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. It's not like the model from last year, this one features an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pull up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might be unable to pick up.
This Roborock model, like the other two models I tested it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, robot vacuum cleaner uk takes things a step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its path automatically and clean them, without missing a step.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching and comes with three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.
The only negative I discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if necessary) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these using the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track the battery life and maintain your components. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its innovative design lets users to tailor and effectively clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the most effective alternatives available. The X40 is also extremely quiet in operation with only occasional bursts during modes changes or self-maintenance.
Another notable characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush which allows it to get into hard-to-reach corners and intimately clean furniture such as table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to get under low-profile furniture, making it a great choice for small apartments and condos with limited space. The side brush tilts automatically down when it detects wet spots. This is a great feature that enables the X40 to prevent damage to floors from excessive back-and forth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are restricted to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpets and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is simple and easy to use, and the X40's smart features are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, alter modes, view maps and floor plans, and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also track its progress, and alert you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to clean and has many convenient features, making it a perfect option for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its capacity to the max and notify you of the situation before it spills.
4. automatic hoover is one of the most expensive models available. It has many characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature in its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a system we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a great method to keep your home cleaner for longer.
There's a wealth of options available, including the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many features that other robots do not include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of relying on a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on the market, with a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this listing however it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
